- The Clinical Data Programmer provides technical assistance as part of a team to develop and maintain clinical systems that meet internal and external clients’ needs, both local and global.
- The incumbent is required to plan and coordinate database design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of clinical systems with guidance from Sr. staff.
- The following activities are required to be carried out: Programming, testing, and documenting databases in accordance with programming standards and validation procedures with guidance from Sr. staff.
- To program database manipulation and transfers of data for internal and external clients with guidance from Sr. staff.
- May assist in developing and implementing new technologies
- May assist IT in testing and evaluating new upgrades to technologies.
- To understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions.
- To perform other duties as directed by management.
- To meet objectives as assigned and interact with the project team to organise timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
- To develop and maintain good communications and interpersonal relationships with the team.

Candidate Profile:-
- A degree/diploma in computer/life science or related field with 0 to years of relevant experience, or equivalent qualification/experience of 6 months to 1 year - B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. IT, B.Sc- IT, BCA etc.
- A degree/ diploma in any discipline with a certification in Oracle database programming (Oracle Certified Courses) with a working knowledge of a relational database.
- Preferred experience includes at least 3 months Oracle database programming. Preferred languages include SQL PL/SQL.
- Working knowledge of a relational database is required. Preferred experience includes Oracle and/or SAS. Preferred languages include SQL PL/SQL and/or SAS/MACRO. Preferred clinical systems include one or more of the following: Clintrial, Oracle Clinical, and/or InForm.
- Good conceptual, organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Flexible approach with a conscientious attitude.
- Position requires a large amount of keyboarding involving repetitive motions with fingers and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
